The first JerkQ'zine opened it's doors in Union City Georgia on May 4th 2006 with the Grand Opening held on May 18th 2006.

The Grand Opening was attended by many dignatories, Mr. HoSang CEO and Jamaica's Honorary Consul to Atlanta Vin Martin performed the ribbon cutting.  

The Union City location was chosen for the first restaurant as it has a strong customer base and a large Jamaican/Caribbean community.
